I am a legitimate oatmeal cookie monster... I just counted, as well as January 2018, I've shared 47 oatmeal cookie recipes along with you. Eep! Have you tried any of them yet? (? You'll find all of my oatmeal cookie recipes right there!) They are a few of the most popular recipes on my blog cause they taste really sweet and cozy, just like traditional"indulgent" oatmeal cookie recipes, but they contain no refined flour or sugar!

That means you'll begin with whole wheat germ (or gluten free, if you prefer) and instant oats (like those... or those for a gluten-free edition!) . Immediate oats are smaller and thinner than traditional rolled oats, also you may locate them in canisters right alongside those traditional oats at the grocery shop.

I probably seem like a broken record by now... But because I ? you and want your cookies to turn out absolutely plump and soft, I am reminding you ... Measure your flour and oats properly, with this method or even a kitchen scale! (? That's the one I have and love. A lot of either ingredient is likely to make your biscuits taste cakey or dry, instead of chewy. This is particularly true of the oats--they behave like little sponges and consume lots of moisture from your cookie dough!

Ripe bananas- ideal for baking! Really like all @amybakeshealthy's yummy & healthful banana recipes!

Watch these bananas? And all of those brown spots? When it comes to baking with bananas, brown = amazing! I ? additional speckly bananas cause they've a lot glowing, bold taste --along with extra natural sweetness! That's the minimum number of brown which I suggest. More is better!

The remaining part of the cookie dough's sweetness comes in a different natural ingredient... Pure maple syrup (like that!) . You would like the type that comes straight from pine trees, which is usually sold in thin glass bottles or squat, round plastic jugs. Skip the pancake syrup and sugar!

The peppers include even more natural sweetness! The recently purchased, additional resource plump, perfectly delicate ones are ideal... But if you have elderly, somewhat dried out carbohydrates (hmm... it seems absurd to explain dried fruit as dried outside! ) , that's fine!

Just add them into a microwave-safe bowl, and put water on top till they're fully covered. Seal plastic wrap over the top, and microwave the bowl on high for 1 minute. If you let the raisins sit while mixing together the cookie dough, then this small trick hydrates them so they're incredibly succulent --and that makes a big difference in these cookies once they're baked!

These oatmeal cookies are tender, chewy, and full of banana flavor! The familiar comfy spices and plump blueberries make these much more irresistible. They will keep for a minumum of one week if stored in an airtight container in the fridge --should they last that long!

Bake at 325°F for about 10-12 minutes. Cool to the pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack.

Notes: It's extremely important to quantify both the wheat and oats correctly employing this technique or even a kitchen scale. (? That is the one I own and adore!) Too much of either will dry out of the biscuits and render them cakey rather than chewy.

Instant oats are also known as quick-cooking or moment oats. They are available in massive canisters, exactly like old-fashioned oats. They're not those in the tiny flavored packets of oatmeal. To make your own, include the same number of old-fashioned oats to your food processor, and pulse 10-12 days or until the oats will be about 1/4 to ? of their initial size.

For the fermented flour, I recommend the following blend: 1/2 cup (60g) millet flour, 2 tbsp (15g) tapioca flour, two tablespoons (15g) brown rice bran, as well as 1/2 tsp xanthan gum. Most store-bought fermented flour blends (like that one!) Will also work, if measured like this.

In case your pancakes are mature, drier, and not so plump or succulent... Add them to a microwave-safe bowland put water on top until they're completely coated. Seal plastic wrap over the surface, and then microwave the bowl on high for 1 second.
